Madeline Steczkowski - Student Leader and Aspiring Health Professional

Madeline Steczkowski is a biology student at Pennsylvania State University. She balances a full academic schedule with leadership and campus involvement. As special events chair for the Student Programming Association, she helps plan and coordinate events that bring students together, working closely with vendors, hospitality teams, and fellow student leaders. Madeline Steczkowski is also a teaching assistant for Chemistry 110. In this capacity, she holds office hours and mentors students. In addition, she is a member of Nittany Neuroscience, participating in workshops focused on microbiological research.

Madeline Steczkowski has strong interests in laboratory science and public health. Her academic background includes early college coursework through the University of Connecticut while attending Lauralton Hall High School. She completed AP biology and gained laboratory experience in chemistry and biology, developing practical skills in titrations, pipet work, EDTA, and AA spectroscopy. In May 2026, she began a three-month internship at Truss Health, facilitating research and health care innovation while supporting patient monitoring.

Madeline Steczkowski is fluent in Polish and proficient in Spanish. She contributes to ATLAS-THON fundraising efforts supporting pediatric cancer initiatives, and has also fundraised for School the World. She participated in an eight-day trip to Honduras where she taught and built schools for children with underprivileged backgrounds. In her spare time, she enjoys powerlifting, reading, sketching, and snowboarding.
